Baking Instructions

  1.  Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Take empanadas directly from freezer to oven, no need to thaw
  3. Lightly oil a baking sheet; arrange empanadas without overcrowding
  4. Bake full-sized empanadas for 30min, appetizer-sized for 20min. Times will vary a bit with each oven. Check that bottom crust is done and tops are golden brown.
  5. Let cool briefly. Contents will be hot!
  6. Serve and enjoy. Feel free to eat them with your hands, Argentine style!


  1.  Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Separate frozen shells and thaw until pliable
  3. Place a heaping Tbsp of filling on shell (one tsp. filling for appetizer size)
  4. Fold dough over filling and pinch closed. Wet edge with water if it doesn't seal easily
  5. Seal the edge with a fork or by twisting the dough
  6. Place empanadas on greased baking sheet
  7. Brush with egg wash
  8. Bake in center of oven for 30 min. or until golden (20 min. for appetizer size)
  9. Let cool briefly. Contents will be hot!
  10. Serve and enjoy. Feel free to eat them with your hands, Argentine style!
